PLEASE NOTE! Institutions must be a member of SECOME for applicants to be eligible. If your institution is not a member of SECOME, ask them to join today and so you have the opportunity to apply and be considered for a SECOME Scholarship.
$750 - $1500 Scholarships are available to:
* Members of the SECOME Board (past or present), SECOME Scholarship Committee and their families are not eligible.
*These scholarships are open only to U.S. Citizens and must reside on Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina or South Carolina soil. Applying for scholarships do not guarantee awards. The SECOME Scholarships are competitive and the SECOME Scholarship Committee takes adequate time to review all applicants' submissions and their materials. An applicant is ineligible if they do not meet the above criteria, and/or if SECOME does not receive all required materials by the deadline.

SECOME just keeps on growing! This year, the organization has seen the largest scholarship application response, as well as awarded the largest amount of scholarships within the organization's history! The student recipients were offered a free night stay at the Hilton Savannah DeSoto in Savannah, GA as well as a gas gift card to help with the travel expenses to the venue to accept the scholarship certificate in person as well as participate on the student panel during the 2016 Symposium. SECOME awarded 5, $1000 scholarship awards to the following noteworthy recipients:
